On Monday, November 15, the junior high girls basketball team played the Canistota Hawks at home. The seventh and eighth grade teams both earned a win. 

The eighth-grade team beat the Hawks with the score, 21-15. Claire Bridge led the team with three buckets, resulting in six points. Taziah Hawkins followed Bridge’s lead by adding five points for the team. Others contributing were Paige Kayser and Brooke Endorf with four points apiece and Dana Degen tallied two points.  The team’s record is now 4 and 1.

The seventh-grade team took the victory over the Hawks with the score, 31-6. Isabel Kayser led the team with eight points followed by Ava Doyle with seven. Hannah Easton, Lacey Easton, and Audrina Waldera contributed four points apiece. Jacey Schoenrock and Alivia Bender added two points each. The team’s record is now 1-1. 

The Beaverettes are in Viborg today playing against Viborg-Hurley.
