On Monday, November 22, the Hanson junior high girls’ basketball team played the Menno Wolves in Menno. The seventh and eighth grade teams both earned a win.
The eighth grade team beat the Wolves with the score, 40-23. Kendra Endorf led the team with six buckets, resulting in 13 points. Taziah Hawkins followed Endorf’s lead by adding 12 points for the team. Others contributing were Dana Degen with eight points; Claire Bridge, five points; and Paige Kayser, two points. The team’s record is now 6-1.
The seventh grade team was victorious over the Wolves, 32-6. Jacey Schoenrock led the team with 10 points followed by Ava Doyle with eight. Audrina Waldera and Hannah Easton contributed four points apiece. Isabel Kayser, Lacey Easton, and Jozlynn Tegethoff added two points each. The team’s record is now 2-2.
