The Hanson Beaver junior high boys basketball team competed against the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans at Plankinton on Thursday, December 2.
The seventh grade Beavers dominated the Titans, 34-20. Radek Jarding led the team into victory with 12 points. Westin Switzer added eight points while Pierce Kayser and Layton Popp contributed four points apiece. Jett Jager and Carson Kampshoff scored three points each.
With the win, seventh grade record improved to 6-1.
The eighth grade team was victorious against the Titans, 29-18. Cole Dewald took the lead for the team in scoring with nine points. Conner Endorf followed with eight points and Carter Endorf added five points. Sutton Squires marked four points while Nate Wilber had three points.
The eighth grade moved their record to 7-3.
