On Friday, December 3, the seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams played the Parkston Trojans in Alexandria.
The seventh-grade team was defeated by the Trojans while the eighth-grade team was victorious.
The seventh grade team lost to Parkston, 30-13. Hannah Easton and Audrina Waldera led the team with four points each. Jozlynn Tegethoff contributed three points while Ava Doyle added two points.
The seventh grade team’s record is 3-4.
The eighth grade team was victorious over the Trojans, 34-29. Taziah Hawkins led the team with 15 points followed by Paige Kayser with eight points. Claire Bridge contributed five points while Kendra Endorf tossed in four points. Taryn Holm added two points.
The eighth grade team’s record is 8-1.
