The Hanson junior high girls basketball team traveled to Canistota to take on the Hawks on Monday, December 6.
The seventh grade beat the Hawks, 32-0. The top scorer for the night was Ava Doyle with eight points. Hannah Easton and Audrina Waldera contributed six points apiece while Isabel Kayser and Jacey Schoenrock had four points each. Jozlynn Tegethoff and Lacey Easton had two points each.
The seventh grade record stands at 4-4.
The eighth grade won 23-13 against the Hawks. Claire Bridge led the team with eight points followed close behind by Taziah Hawkins with five. Brooke Endorf and Dana Degen added three points each. Also contributing to the team was Paige Kayser and Taryn Holm with two points apiece.
The eighth grade record improved to 12-1.
The JH girls team hosts Bridgewater-Emery on Thursday, December 9. The seventh grade game will begin at 5:45 PM followed by the eighth grade game at 6:30 PM.
