The Hanson junior high girls and boys basketball teams hosted the Bridgewater-Emery Huskies on Thursday, December 9.

The seventh grade girls team fell to the Huskies after battling through two overtimes.  Final score was 19-18.  Leading the team in scoring was Ava Doyle with nine points followed by Audrina Waldera with six.  Isabel Kayser put up three points.

The seventh grade girls team record stands at 4-5.

The eighth grade boys team improved their record to 13-1 with a victory over the Huskies, 37-20.  Taziah Hawkins led the team with eight points followed by Paige Kayser, Brooke Endorf, Dana Degen and Kendra Endorf with six points apiece.  Claire Bridge added three points while Taryn Holm had two points each.

The seventh grade boys easily defeated the Huskies, 29-17.  Top scorers for the team were Layton Popp with eight points followed by Westin Switzer with seven.  Pierce Kayser added six points while Radek Jarding had four.  Others contributing were Jett Jager and Jason Porth with two points apiece.

The seventh grade boys team record moved to 7-2 with the win.

The eighth grade boys team fell to the Huskies, 20-26.  Nate Wilber led all players with nine points followed by Conner Endorf with six.  Carter Endorf and Cole Dewald chipped in two points each.  Brayden Bahmuller marked one point.

The eighth grade boys team record stands at 10-5.
