Jayden Hofer, Jozlynn Tegethoff, Stephanie Aulner and Jaycee Heezen participated in the Region 5 Instrumental Solo/ Small Ensemble Contest on February 28th.
Jayden and Jozlynn performed a clarinet duet and performed "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin. They received a Superior rating on their duet.
Stephanie and Jaycee performed a clarinet and snare drum duet and performed "Royal March" and received an Excellent rating on their duet.
Brennan Day participated in the South Dakota Middle School All State Orchestra Program.
On February 24th Brennan got to work under a retired and well established orchestra director for the state of South Dakota, Mr. Bruce Knowles. Brennan was selected among 84 other middle schoolers throughout the state for this event. This was help at Rapid City Central High School.
