The Hanson Student Council has selected "Holidays" as the theme for the 2025 Homecoming.
The week of festivities begins on Monday, September 8, with the Coronation ceremony taking place at 7:30 p.m.
The HIGH SCHOOL dress-up days for Homecoming Week are as follows:
Monday: Camo Day
Tuesday: John Hancock Day
Wednesday: Class Color Day (to be determined)
Thursday: Adam Sandler Day
Friday: Blue and White Day
At this time, the elementary dress up days have not been decided.
On Friday, September 12, the Homecoming Parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a pep rally to follow in front of the auditorium on mainstreet.
Anyone interested in entering a float in the parade must complete a parade entry form and email to stephanie.wallace@k12.sd.us or roxane.alley@k12.sd.us as soon as possible. Contact Stephanie Wallace or Roxane Alley at school with questions regarding the parade.
The Homecoming festivities wrap up Friday night as the Hanson Beavers take on the Parkston Trojans, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.
