The Hanson middle school volleyball team played at home on Tuesday, August 31, against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket.
The seventh grade defeated SCW with team scores, 25-12 and 25-18. Audrina Waldera went seven-for-seven serving with three aces. Alivia Bender went five-for-seven serving with one ace. Jacey Schoenrock went two-for-three serving with one ace followed by Delaney Jarding serving three-for-five with two aces.
The seventh grade team’s serving percentage was 60% (29/48).
The seventh grade team record stands at 1-0.
The eighth grade was victorious over SCW with scores, 25-23 and 15-12. Paige Kayser went eight-for-nine serving with two aces. Claire Bridge went six-for-seven serving with one ace. Dana Degen went five-for-six serving with one ace.
The eighth grade team’s serving percentage was 76% (29/76).
