The Hanson volleyball team hosted the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks on Tuesday, August 31.
The Blackhawks went 3-0 in the match, winning 25-15, 25-16, and 25-20. Leading the Beaverettes was Jalyn Kampshoff with 19 digs and 15 assists. Annalyse Weber marked 15 digs and six kills. Skylar Holm helped the team with her 11 digs. Erin Dewald and Kate Haiar had five kills apiece
The Blackhawks defeated the junior varsity Beaverettes in a close match with scores, 27-25 and 30-28. Leading the JV squad was the setter, Emma Riggs, with 10 points – five coming from aces. Peighten Wallace chipped in seven points for the team and Kennedy Bender had three aces.
