The Hanson High School Student Council has begun preparation for the 2021 Homecoming week which is scheduled for September 20 – 24.

The student council has selected “Olympics” for the 2021 Homecoming Theme.

Homecoming festivities will begin with Coronation on Monday, September 20, beginning at 7:30 PM.   Throughout the week, the students will be participating in their dress up days.  The days of the week for grades 6-12 will be: Monday, Pajama Day; Tuesday, Color Day (each class has been designated a color to wear); Wednesday, Future Day; Thursday, Hawaiian/Cowboy/Camo Day; Friday, Blue and White Day.

On Friday, September 24, the Homecoming Parade will take place at 12:30 PM with the route down main street of Alexandria.  Following the parade, there will be a pep rally in front of the auditorium for students and the public to attend.  To conclude the week, the Hanson Beaver football team will host Deubrook Area.  Game time is set for 7:00 PM.

Anyone interested in entering a float in the parade will need to contact Mrs. Roxane Alley or Mrs. Stephanie Wallace at school.   Every parade entry will need to fill out a form regarding their float and return it to the school prior to the parade.  Forms can be downloaded from the following link, https://5il.co/ymrc .  Forms are also available in the Hanson High School office or can be obtained from Mrs. Alley or Mrs. Wallace.
