The Hanson varsity volleyball team competed in the Bridgewater-Emery Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 18, in Emery.

In pool play, the Beaverettes fell to tournament host, B-E, in their first match, 12-25 and 11-25.  In their second match of pool play, the Beaverettes lost to Freeman, 13-25 and 13-25.  
After pool play, the ladies faced Canistota in bracket play.  The Beaverettes were victorious over Canistota.  Set scores were 25-23 and 25-19.  Leading the team in kills was Kylie Haiar with four kills followed by Kate Haiar, Erin Dewald, Kiana Berg and Annalyse Weber with three kills each.

Weber had two aces while Berg marked one ace in the match.

Jalyn Kampshoff recorded 13 successful set assists.

Defensively, Taylor Schroeder led the team in digs with 18 followed by Weber with eight.  Dewald added six digs while Kampshoff and Ka. Haiar tallied four digs apiece.  Ka. Haiar and Dewald had one block apiece in the match.
