The Hanson middle school volleyball team traveled to Emery on Tuesday, September 21, to battle the Bridgewater-Emery Huskies.  The seventh and eighth grade matches ended in a tie.

Match scores for the seventh grade were: 25-7 and 24-26.  Ava Doyle went 11-for-14 serving with a total of six aces. Jozlynn Tegethoff served eight-for-10, with four of those serves being aces. Isabel Kayser and Alivia Bender tallied up two aces each. Audrina Waldera marked one ace.

In total, the team ended their matches with a serving percentage of 73% (35-of-48).

The seventh grade record is 4-0-3.

The eighth grade team’s final scores were: 25-23 and 15-25. Taziah Hawkins led the team with eight-for-nine serves, three of them being aces. Taryn Holm, Marah Doyle, and Dana Degen scored one ace apiece.

The eighth grade girls ended their games with an 83% (30-of-36) serving percentage.

The eighth grade record stands at 5-2-3.
