Taziah Hawkins extends her lead as she rounds a turn on the course.

The team had the perfect day to run on the very hilly Glenridge Golf Course. 

The varsity girls won the meet. Five out of the six girls placed in the top 15. Taziah Hawkins  placed first (20.21) followed by Cadence Jarding who medaled in fourth place (21.11).  Eliza Oltmanns medaled in seventh place (22.14) while Alyssa Moschell crossed the finish line in eighth place (22.18). Reese Marek placed 11th (22.43).  Erin Dewald finished in 17th place (24.58).

In the varsity boy’s division, Anthony Geist medaled highest with a 12th place finish (19.51) followed by Carson Ferry in 13th place (19.59). 

In the junior high boy’s division, Rhett Marek was the only one who placed in the top 15. Marek placed third (12.01).  Nash Hofer crossed the finish line in 18th place (17:08). 

The Hanson cross country team will be traveling to Platte to compete on Saturday, September 25.
