The 2006-2007 girls basketball cheer team earned the "Spirit of Six" award at the State B Girls Basketball Tournament. The cheer team received the prestigious award with the smallest squad ever, but their enthusiasm and energy carried them to the top. The award was a fantastic way to end the season for the squad, but it also capped the career of Coach Dawn Williams who retired after 17 years.
Team members included: Joni (Dey) Jager, Taylor Degen, Caitlyn (Heezen) Lachnit, Katie (Kampshoff) Royston, Coaches Dawn Williams and Stephanie Danielsen.
