The Hanson High School volleyball team hosted the Irene-Wakonda Eagles on Thursday, September 23.

The varsity ladies fell to I-W in five sets.  Set scores were: 25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 12-25 and 11-15.  Leading the team in kills was Annalyse Weber with eight kills followed by Kate Haiar and Kiana Berg with seven each.   Berg had one ace.  Jalyn Kampshoff tallied 25 successful set assists on the night. 

Weber led the team in digs with 32 followed by Taylor Schroeder with 19.  Kampshoff added 17 digs.   Haiar had two blocks in the match.

The junior varsity beat I-W, 25-23 and 25-21.  

The C team was victorious over the Eagles with set scores, 25-22 and 25-19.

The varsity competed at the Sanford Pentagon Tournament in Sioux Falls on Saturday, September 25, travel to Wagner on Tuesday to take on the Red Raiders.
