On Tuesday, September 28, the middle school volleyball team took on the Wagner Red Raiders in Wagner. 

The sixth grade team played three sets and lost 1-2. The set scores were 14-25, 25-9, and 10-15. Ava Arend led the team with four aces and went seven-for-nine in serving. Sophie Bahmuller followed with two aces and went seven-for-eight serving. Tacey Weber chipped in one ace and went nine-for-11 serving. 

The team’s overall serving percentage is 73% (35/48). Their record is now 1-0-3.

The seventh grade team won both sets against Wagner. The set scores were 25-15 and 25-22. Audrina Waldera led the team with two aces and went 10-for-12 serving. Ava Doyle had one ace and went eight-for-11 serving. Lily Bahmuller led the team with perfect serving, going four-for-four and added one ace to the score. 

The team’s overall serving percentage is 65% (31/48). Their record is now 9-0-3.

The eighth grade team beat the Red Raiders in two sets.  Set scores were 25-7 and 26-24. Paige Kayser led the team with nine aces and went 14-for-15 serving. Claire Bridge, Brooke Endorf and Taryn Holm had perfect serving in the match.  Holm went nine-for-nine; Bridge serving seven-for-seven; and Endorf served six-for-six.  Bridge and Endorf had one ace apiece. 

The team’s overall serving percentage is 94% (47/50). Their record is now 9-3-3.
