The Hanson high school cross country team ran in the Parker Invitational at the Par Mar Golf Course in Parker on Wednesday, September 29.
The varsity girl’s team placed second overall. Leading the team was Taziah Hawkins who crossed the finish line in fifth place (22:13.75). Cadence Jarding placed 14th (23:28.36) followed by Reese Marek in 17th place (23:44.72). Alyssa Moschell finished in 18th place (23:54.50) while Erin Dewald finished in 33rd place (25:45.53).
In the varsity boy’s division, Carson Ferry finished highest in 18th place (20:59.58) followed by Anthony Geist in 19th place (21:04.42). Jason Porth crossed the finish line in 31st place (22:53.32) while Will Jarding was 32nd (22:53.78).
The harriers will run in Irene on Wednesday, October 6, and will compete at the Region Meet in Beresford on Thursday, October 14.
