On Thursday, September 30, the Hanson middle school volleyball teams hosted the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats. 

The seventh grade swept the Wildkats in two sets, 21-2 and 21-18. Jacey Schoenrock served 13-for-14 with six aces. Audrina Waldera went nine-for-10 with three aces. Others contributing aces were Isabel Kayser, two; Sawyer Hoffmann, two; and Delaney Jarding one. 

The seventh grade team served 33-of-41 (80%). Their record stands at 10-0-3. 

In the eighth grade match, the team won both sets, 25-13, and 25-14. Taziah Hawkins led the team in serving with three aces and 11-for-13 on serves. Brooke Endorf went nine-of-11 in serves with one ace.  Marah Doyle served nine-of-12 with four aces. Dana Degen racked up one ace for the young Beaverettes. 

Together, the eighth grade team served 80% (39/49). Their record is 10-3-3.

The MS volleyball team will be in Centerville on Tuesday, October 5.  The eighth grade travel to Mitchell today to take on the Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles.  The sixth and seventh grade teams will go to Mt. Vernon on Friday to play the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans.
