On Thursday, September 30, the Hanson high school volleyball team hosted the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats 

The varsity girls team lost to KWL in five sets with set scores of 21-25, 18-25, 25-14, 25-21, 8-15.  Kylie Haiar led the team with 14 kills. Kate Haiar had 11 kills followed by Annalyse Weber with eight. For serving, Erin Dewald led the team with six aces. Jalyn Kampshoff and Kiana Berg had two aces each. Kampshoff successfully completed 29 set assists. 

On defense, Weber tallied 38 digs. Dewald completed 28 digs followed by Kampshoff with 23.  Ka. Haiar had four blocks for the night.

The junior varsity team took a victory over KWL in three sets. Scores for the sets were: 28-26, 9-25 and 13-15. Avery Moschell led the team with six kills and four aces. Peighten Wallace added nine set assists. Defensively, Kennedy Bender tallied 21 digs. 

The C team won in two sets. The set scores were 25-11 and 25-9. 

The Hanson volleyball team travel to Tyndall on Monday, October 4, to take on the Bon Homme Cavaliers and will be in Centerville on Tuesday, October 5.  On Thursday, the JV team takes on Mitchell Christian in Mitchell.
