The Hanson high school volleyball team traveled to Centerville on October 5, to face the Tornadoes.

The varsity girls fought hard and left with a win in three sets. Set scores were: 25-15, 25-15, and 25-20. The Haiar sister duo performed very well together. Kate Haiar led the team in kills with eight followed by Kylie Haiar with seven. Jalyn Kampshoff helped her team by contributing 22 set assists and three aces. Taylor Schroeder had 14 digs while Annalyse Weber followed with 12. Kampshoff, Erin Dewald, and Kiana Berg chipped in seven digs each. Others contributing were Weber, four aces; and Ka. Haiar, three blocks.

The junior varsity notched a win on Tuesday night. The girls played great team volleyball. Ky. Haiar was aggressive at the net, putting down six kills. Avery Moschell played right along with Ky. Haiar and had four successful attacks and one block. Peighten Wallace contributed four set assists and three aces. Wallace and Cadence Jarding each helped the team by adding five digs apiece.

The Beaverettes will take a trip to Menno on Tuesday, October 12, and take on the Wolves.
