The eighth grade volleyball team traveled to Mitchell to take on the Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles on Thursday, October 7.
The Beaverettes were victorious over the Golden Eagles. Set scores were 25-11 and 25-5. Taziah Hawkins led the team serving 14 out of 16 with seven aces followed by Marah Doyle serving nine out of 10 with five aces. Claire Bridge and Brooke Endorf both helped the team out serving a perfect match, six out of six, with two aces apiece. Trynidy Willim and Paige Kayser contributed two aces each while Dana Degen had one.
The team served 44-of-49 (90%). The eighth grade team’s record improved to 12-3-3.
