The Hanson junior varsity volleyball team was in Mitchell on Thursday, October 7, to take on the Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles.
The ladies beat the Golden Eagles in three sets with scores: 25-16, 25-9 and 25-14. Grace Arend led the team in kills with six followed by Avery Moschell with five. Jazzy Campbell and Jessa Degen added three kills each. Kennedy Bender and Olivia Kayser tallied four aces apiece. Cadence Jarding added three aces.
Jersey Kampshoff recorded 10 successful set assists while Peighten Wallace had eight.
Defensively, Jarding marked six digs while Wallace and Bender had four digs each. Moschell had one block in the match.
