On Friday, October 8, the sixth grade team traveled to Mt. Vernon to play Mt. Vernon/Plankinton in six sets to 21.
The Hanson girls were victorious over the Titans, winning five out of the six sets. Set scores were 19-21, 21-9, 21-19, 21-13, 21-12, 21-11.
Leading the team was Ava Arend serving 15-for-18 and tallied six aces. Tacey Weber served 15-for-18 and completed four aces. Sophie Bahmuller served 14-for-17 with two aces. Isabella Weber contributed seven aces. Brooklyn Schroeder and Haleigh Haiar added four aces each.
The team served 85-for-122 (70%). Their record improved to 2-1-3.
