The Hanson junior high football team traveled to Canistota on Monday, October 11, to face the Canistota/Freeman Pride for their final game of the season.
The game was an offensive battle in the first half. Halftime score was 20-14 with C/F in the lead. Final score was 42-22 with C/F gaining the victory over the young Beavers. Radek Jarding scored first for the Beavers on a rushing touchdown. Stetson Riggs scored on a pass from Jett Jager. In the second half, Riggs scored on a rushing touchdown.
The young Beavers ended their season with a 7-2 record.
