Hanson School District

On Tuesday, October 12, the Hanson junior high volleyball team traveled to Menno to compete against the Menno Wolves. 

 The seventh grade team tied Menno in two sets. In the first set, Hanson won, 25-19, and fell to the Wolves in the second set, 9-25. Audrina Waldera served 12-for-12 with six aces followed by Alivia Bender who served seven-for-nine with three aces. Sawyer Hoffman served three-for-five with three aces. Isabel Kayser served two-for-three with two aces. 

 Overall, the seventh grade team served 20-for-43 (65%). The seventh grade record  stands at 11-0-4. 

 The eighth grade team lost to Menno. In the first set, the eighth grade lost to the Wolves, 22-25.  The young team came back and defeated Menno in the second set, 25-12.  In the third set, the team lost 9-15. Taziah Hawkins served 13-for-15 with eight aces. Taryn Holm totaled two aces and served 11-for-11. Brooke Endorf served eight-for-nine with two aces. Marah Doyle and Trynidy Willim served two aces each. Paige Kayser served one ace. 

 The eighth grade team overall served 40-for-57 for 70%. The eighth grade record is 12-4-3.
