Hanson School District

The Hanson high school volleyball team was on the road to Menno on Tuesday, October 12, to face the Menno Wolves.

The varsity girls left with a win in four sets. Set scores were 22-25, 25-19, 27-25, and 25-19. Annalyse Weber led the team in kills with 12 followed by Kylie Haiar with seven. Jalyn Kampshoff helped the Beaverettes secure the win with six hits, 27 assists, and 20 digs. Weber had 32 digs while Erin Dewald had 24. Kiana Berg chipped in 16 digs. Dewald contributed five aces while Ka. Haiar and Berg had two aces apiece.

The junior varsity defeated the Wolves in two sets with scores: 26-24 and 25-16. Ky. Haiar led the team with seven kills followed by Paige Endorf and Avery Moschell with five kills each. Peighten Wallace accounted for seven of the Beaverettes aces.  Cadence Jarding contributed 16 digs while Emma Riggs tallied four.

The C team suffered a loss to the young Wolves. Set scores were 25-27 and 13-15.  No stats were recorded.
