The Hanson junior high volleyball team hosted the Ethan Rustlers on Thursday, October 14.
The seventh grade won over the Rustlers in two sets. Set scores were: 21-19 and 16-6. Audrina Waldera went 15-for-17 in serving with six aces. Ava Doyle went seven-for-seven in serving with two aces.
The seventh grade team’s serving percentage was 86% (30/36). Their record is now 12-0-4.
The eighth grade team defeated Ethan, 25-16 and 19-8. Taryn Holm led the team in serving with 16-for-19 with two aces. Marah Doyle followed with nine-for-11 in serving and had six aces. Claire Bridge went one hundred percent serving six-for-six. Brooke Endorf add one ace and with perfect serving of four-for-four.
The eighth grade team’s serving percentage was 84% (37/44). Their record is now 13-4-3.
The JH volleyball team will be in Scotland on Monday, October 18, and in Freeman on Tuesday for their final match of the season.
