Annalyse Weber attempts to hit over two McCook Central/Montrose defenders.

On Monday, October 25, the volleyball team hosted the McCook Central/ Montrose Fighting Cougars for Senior Night and their final match of the regular season.

The varsity suffered a loss in four sets. Set scores were 30-28, 11-25, 9-25, and 14-25. Leading in kills was Annalyse Weber with six attacks. Following Weber was Erin Dewald with two kills. . Kiana Berg added two aces to the score board.  Jalyn Kampshoff tallied nine set assists.

Weber was fast on the court, adding 13 digs to her stats. Kampshoff added nine digs while Taylor Schroeder had seven digs. Dewald marked one block in the match.

The junior varsity team fell to the Fighting Cougars. Set scores were 15-25 and 16-25. Peighten Wallace contributed to the team with two aces and three set assists. Kennedy Bender and Erica Endorf added eight digs apiece while Cadence Jarding had four digs.

The C team was defeated by MCM in three sets.  Set scores were:  25-10, 10-25, and 13-15.

The Beaverettes begin the Region 5A tournament in Wagner on Tuesday, November 2, against  the Wagner Red Raiders.
