Hanson School District

The Hanson junior high volleyball teams finished their 2021/22 season on October 19th as they traveled to Freeman in their final matches. There were 32 girls in the program in grades 6-8.  Records for the three teams are as follows:  sixth grade:  4-1-3; seventh grade: 13-0-5; eighth grade:  15-4-3.

Members of the teams include:  eighth grade:  Claire Bridge, Dana Degen, Marah Doyle, Brooke Endorf, Kendra Endorf, Taziah Hawkins, Taryn Holm, Paige Kayser and Trinity Willim; seventh grade:  Lillian Bahmuller, Alivia Bender, Ava Doyle, Hannah Easton, Lacey Easton, Sawyer Hoffmann, Delaney Jarding, Isabel Kayser, Jacey Schoenrock, Myah Stueven, Jozlynn Tegethoff and Audrina Waldera; sixth grade:  Ava Arend, Sophie Bahmuller, Serenity Haag, Haleigh Haiar, Brooklyn Kocer, Annalynn Mentele, Brooklyn Schroeder, Clara Sloan, Isabella Weber, Tacey Weber and Addyson Willim.

Coach Kim DeRouchey and Coach Pat Wenande would like to thank the team for a fun and successful season.  

“It was exciting to see how each individual player improved throughout the season.  We had a nice group of athletes that worked hard to better their individual skills and worked well as a team,” commented Coach DeRouchey.

The junior high teams would like to thank the high school volleyball team and coaches for setting up for their matches and for officiating and line judging.
