The Hanson junior high boys basketball teams traveled to Freeman on Monday, November 8, to take on the Freeman Flyers.
The score for the seventh grade game was 22-23 in favor of the Flyers. The leading scorer for the Beavers was Radek Jarding with five points. Jett Jager, Pierce Kayser, and Carson Kampshoff added four points apiece. Westin Switzer had three points while Layton Popp added two points.
The score for the eighth grade game was 25-38 in favor of the Flyers. The leading scorers were Sutton Squires and Cole Dewald with eight points each. Conner Endorf contributed four points while Carter Endorf added three points. Alex Tuschen had two points.
The JH teams will traveled to Irene on Saturday, November 13, to play in the Irene-Wakonda JH Tournament.
