Hanson School District

The Hanson junior high girls basketball team took on the Viborg-Hurley Cougars in Viborg on Thursday, November 18. 

The seventh grade fell to the Cougars in a low scoring game, 13-17.  Lacey Easton led all players with five points followed by Jacey Schoenrock with four.  Audrina Waldera added two points while Ava Doyle and Isabel Kayser had one point each.
The seventh grade record is 1-2.

The eighth grade easily defeated the Cougars, 62-25.  Claire Bridge led all players with 16 points followed by Taziah Hawkins with 15.  Brooke Endorf tallied 10 points while Paige Kayser added nine.  Others contributing in scoring were: Kendra Endorf, eight points; Dana Degen, two points; and Taryn Holm, two points.

The eighth grade record improved to 5-1.

The young teams travel to Menno on Monday, November 22, to take on the Menno Wolves.
