The Hanson junior high boys basketball team took on the Howard Tigers at home on Tuesday, November 23.
The seventh grade downed the Tigers, 15-12. Leading the team in scoring was Jett Jager with seven points followed by Radek Jarding with four. Pierce Kayser and Jason Porth added two points apiece.
The seventh grade record moved to 4-1 with the win.
The eighth grade beat the Tigers, 25-22. Top scorers for the team were Cole Dewald with eight points followed by Conner Endorf with six. Carter Endorf added four points while Brayden Bahmuller put up three points. Sutton Squires and Alex Tuschen added two points each.
The eighth grade’s record stands at 6-3.
The Beavers travel to Irene on Tuesday to take on Irene-Wakonda.
