Hanson Student Council sponsored their annual Giving Tree from the end of November to December 13. Students in grades PreK - 12 were asked to donate nonperishable food items.
Students at Hanson proved once again that they care for those that are in need. Over 1841 nonperishable food items were donated by the students. The kindergarten class brought the most food items (516 items) and have earned a pizza party for their generosity!
The food items collected were taken to the local food pantry to help those in need, especially during the holiday season!
