The fifth and sixth grade boys basketball teams were in Canistota on Friday, January 21, to take on the Canistota Hawks.
The fifth grade crushed the Hawks, 35-1. Brady Jager led all players with 13 points followed by Drew Endorf with 10. Hudson Oltmanns, Ayden Hruby and Austin Kafer added four points each.
The sixth grade fell to the Hawks, 40-12. Rhett Marek led the team with four points. Braxon DeJong, Dawson Huber, Carter Ruden and Brady Jager contributed two points each.
The young Beavers host Bridgewater-Emery on Monday, January 24, and travel to Ethan on Saturday, January 29, to take on the Rustlers.
