The fifth and sixth grade boys basketball teams hosted the Bridgewater-Emery Huskies on Monday, January 24.
The fifth grade team easily defeated the Huskies, 30-6. Brady Jager was the top scorer for the Beavers with 16 points. Drew Endorf put up eight points while Hudson Oltmanns had four. Austin Kafer added two points.
The sixth grade team was narrowly defeated by the Huskies, 24-26. Leading the team in scoring was Brady Jager with nine points followed by Carter Ruden with six. Dawson Huber tallied five points while Rhett Marek had four points.
The next games for the fifth and sixth grade teams will be on Saturday, January 29, in Ethan.
