Each month at Hanson Elementary, we recognize "STAR STUDENTS". Students are recognized with a certificate and Starburst Treat at our monthly assemblies for best representing their class's STAR word for that month. Each recognized student also gets to pick a book from our Book Machine located in the elementary. As you can see in the picture there are a variety of books at all levels for students to choose from. A special Thank You to the 3rd and 4th Grade Restaurant for purchasing the books for the machine each year!

Hanson School will start at 10:00 am on Monday March 16th.

3rd quarter grades can be viewed using the Parent Portal. If you do not have a username and password, please contact Dawn in the office to obtain one. Thank you!

Please join the Hanson High School Drama Department for the performance of "A Family Reunion to Die For" at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 2 in the Auditorium on Main Street. Tickets can be purchased now by calling the school or emailing tate.schoenfelder@k12.sd.us. Tickets are $6 for Adults and $4 for Students ages 5-18. 

Starting Monday March 16th, students will have the opportunity to choose Whole Milk as an option for breakfast and lunch. Skim, 1%, and Chocolate will still be available

Hanson Elementary is starting it's ONE BOOK ONE SCHOOL adventure this weekend. Elementary students all got a copy of "Saving Winslow" today. We hope all families can enjoy reading the story together!
