Friday (9/29/23) is senior night for Hanson Football, Cheer, and Cross Country. Senior recognition along with their parents will begin at 6:40. During half time the homecoming royalty and Pee Wee/Jr. League Football players will be announced. The Alex. Fire Department is having a tailgate serving chili and hotdogs. Come support our seniors for their last regular season home game.
Due to the recent rains and forecast for Saturday, it was decided to cancel the Platte-Geddes invitational cross country meet that was to be held at Dakota Trails Golf Course east of Corsica. The meet will not be rescheduled.

Wow! It's official..the Hanson Golf team brings home the state runner up trophy! Ben and AJ Weber claim individual medals placing 5th and 15th in that order, Keenan Waldera 52nd and Will Jarding 70th. What a tournament for the boys on a tough course! Congrats guys!
Strong showing for the Hanson golfers on day one of the state meet. Hanson was paced my AJ Wilber (81 - tied. For 13th individually) and Ben Wilber (82 - tied for 19th individually). The team is currently in 6th place overall. Best of luck tomorrow for the final 18 holes!
The Hanson girls take home the consolations championship at the state softball tourney with an 11-9 victory over Viborg-Hurley. Big win to end the season. Great job ladies. Congrats!
Hanson wins a thriller over Gayville-Volin in the state softball tourney by a score of 8-7. The Beavers will play in the consolation championship on Saturday. Way to come back strong today girls!
