Congrats to all the C.C. runners for placing at the FA/Marion meet in Freeman. JH Girls Tenly S 10th, JV Girls Kyannah 10th, HS Girls Eliza 2nd, Cadence 6th, Taziah 7th, Reese 9th, Erin 10th, Alyssa 13th - HS Boys Carson 9th, Will 12th. The HS girls also won the Team Event.

150 Hanson elementary students got to play on the new field and run on the new track for recess this afternoon.

Kickoff for Hanson vs. Irene-Wakonda is 7:00 tonight. Reminder of road construction: Due to road construction on HWY 46 it is recommended that when traveling to the football game in Irene fans should take the Viborg oil road (291st ST) East until you hit 452nd AVE and then go south into Irene.

The 7-12 Hanson Band & Choir students have started their discount card fundraiser. The cards cost $15 each and include discounts for 40+ different businesses between Mitchell and Alexandria, effective until 8/14/2023. Howard Football will be serving a tailgate meal on Friday, August 19 starting at 6pm before the Hanson vs. Howard Football Game. Pulled Pork Sandwich Coleslaw Chips Cookie/bar bottle of water $10

This school year, families who may qualify for free or reduced-price meals will need to submit a free and reduced-price meal application.
