We want to wish our Cross Country runners and Coach Oltmanns well who will be heading for Rapid City today for the state meet. The girls will compete at 8:30 a.m. CT on Saturday. Give it your all and stay warm!
Ticket prices for tonight's Playoff game are set by the SDHSAA.
Adults - $7
Students - $5
Regular season passes will not be honored for any playoff games.
The week of November 2nd through the 6th is considered Free College Application Week in SD. Students at participating schools are eligible for up to 3 FREE applications to SD Post-Secondary Schools. There have been changes to the volleyball schedule for Friday @ Viborg-Hurley. There will be not JH or JV games. Varsity only starting at 6:15 p.m.

Announcement: St. Mary’s will be having their normal CRE classes Wednesday. Grade school will go at 3:30 and high school will be at 7:00.
Hanson will host Parkston on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. for a first round 9AA football playoff game. The junior class will be hosting a pulled pork tailgate at 6:00 before the game.
There will be a meeting during TAP (1:11 on Wednedsay) for any 7th and 8th grade boys and girls interested in going out for basketball this year. Boys will meet in Mrs. Bowers' science room and girls will meet in the science lab.
There will be a Skills USA meeting on Tuesday during TAP in the community room.
The boys wrapped up their season today in Platte at the Region Meet. Great Season Guys!

All Hanson 9-12 students are invited to the Multi-purpose room after the Homecoming Football game on Friday, October 16th. Pizza and Pop will be provided by the Parent Network and the Student Council! After the game through 11:00 p.m.
The school was asked to pass on the message that Hanson County has a burn ban on starting today until further notice.
The girls cross country competed at regions today. Congrats to Eliza Oltmanns (12th) Alyssa Moschell (16th) and Cadence Jarding (18th) for qualifying for the State Meet in Rapid City next weekend.

Any business or organizations who plan to have a float in the homecoming parade on Friday please be sure to fill out the linked Parade Entry form: https://5il.co/kp7s and return it to the school office ahead of time. A reminder that candy or other items should not be dispersed from parade entries at this year's parade. The parade starts at 12:30 on Friday.
